SGI Polska is looking for Civil Design Engineers on behalf of our client.
Job purpose
The Civil Engineer shall be responsible for the delivery of design calculations and associated documentation and for the development of contract and tender documents and drawings to programme and to budget
-Produce and check design calculations and associated documentation and risk assessments.
-Co-ordinate and monitor the procurement and production of design calculations.
-Coordinate and review the production of civil drawings associated with the implementation of the design calculations and risk assessments.
-Assist in the production of design layouts which are cost effective, meet the requirements of the specification and which can be constructed and commissioned effectively.
-Ensure that standard practices are utilised wherever possible.
-Assist in the production of standard designs as appropriate.
-Liaison with site personnel, and sub-contract suppliers and designers
Knowledge/ Experience
-Have experience of designing civil engineering structures and the production of design office deliverables
Education/Qualifications
-Preferable: – Civil Engineering degree – with 3 years relevant design office experience
-Minimum: – Civil Engineering degree with 2 years relevant design office experience
-Computer literacy
-Driving license
