Civil Engineer

This will comprise both underground and surface tracks in London and a minimum of three stations. Our package of work includes underground station, three portals and six intermediate shafts. You will be involved in the Isle of Dogs Station and will be reporting to the technical director.

Senior civil / structural engineer

The main duties of the role include:

1. carrying out structural assessment of structures in the vicinity of the Isle of Dogs station

2. preparing reports and assessment of any support requirements

Internally you will be liaising with other disciplines in the client and externally you will be liaising with the client’s team.

The successful candidate will have a university degree in civil engineering or equivalent. You will be a chartered member of ICE or IstructE or equivalent. It is essential that you have:

1. expertise in structural assessments of various building structures

2. expertise in the design of protection works/support structures

An ideal candidate will have experience in ground treatment using a structural protection

device. To excel in this role you must be a proactive team worker looking eager for a challenging ole on a major project.
