Senior Process Engineer
Place of work: Quatar
PEQ/10/MXK
The role purpose is to support the client in all aspects from conceptual design, through detailed engineering with a goal to provide long-term performance improvements.
Core Accountabilities:
-Demonstrate an overriding commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility
-Conducting detailed engineering studies that includes equipment design for columns, drums, pumps and heat exchanges
-Preparations of PFD, P&lDs and MSD
-Preparation of instrument datasheets
-Preparation of safety relief valve
-Conducting Hydraulic calculations
-Attending to HAZOP meetings
Qualifications:
-Tertiary/technical qualifications in chemical engineering discipline are essential
-Knowledge of Engineering design codes, specifications and latest design engineering and analytical techniques and software (HYSYS or Pro ll) is essential
-Must have a thorough knowledge of engineering practices, international standards and codes
Experience & Technical Competencies:
-The ideal candidate will demonstrate broad experience in Oil & Gas Brownfield and Greenfield facilities, preferably with EPCM contractors Middle East experience on similar projects would be an advantage
-Demonstrated success in past project involvement and technical delivery of small to medium size projects
-Proven ability to influence and mentor others in safety principles and behaviors
-Demonstrated high order interpersonal skills and the ability to operate within a multinational environment, with wide exposure to various cultures and customs
-Excellent communication skills (both written & verbal) with ability to interact across multiple disciplines
-Demonstrated ability to influence and motivate others with regard to continuous improvement
-A high level of computer literacy
-Fluent English
