Saudi Arabia Bechtel Co. is currently searching for specialists to work on the Jubail Industrial City project in Saudi Arabia. Jubail II will add a second industrial area to house up to 22 new primary industries. The project calls for the expansion of King Fahd Industrial Port, pipeline refurbishment, increasing capacity of the cooling system, and new desalination plants.
Senior Construction Engineer (Contracts Supervisor)
Location: Jubail, Saudi Arabia
SSA/08/CS Accountability:
* Serve as full time Contract Supervisor for one or more construction contracts as assigned by the Facility Contract Supervisor;
* Maintain project safety awareness and enforce project safety policy;
* Review contractor schedule and participate in work plan input;
* Coordinate contractor activities with the work of others, assist contractor in complying with Jubail jobsite work rules, ensure contractor is provided RC furnished materials and support as specified by the applicable contract;
* Attend or chair meetings with contractor. Participate in contract negotiations.
Key Technical Skills:
* College/University Degree in Engineering required with experience as a Field Engineer and construction field supervision;
* Experience should relate to civil/mechanical/electrical experience in the construction of major civil infrastructure site development and industrial facilities;
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of programs;
* Experience in port construction consisting of berths, hose tower, dredging, quay construction (via land reclamation), pier installation, driven piles, shoreline protection, docking systems, gantry cranes, etc would be a plus.
