Duties and Responsibilities:
Quantity calculation based on drawings [Building & Earth Work];
Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client;
Undertaking costs analysis for repair and maintenance project work;
Assisting in establishing a client’s requirements and undertaking feasibility studies;
Performing risk and value management and cost control;
Advising on procurement strategy;
Identifying, analyzing and developing responses to commercial risks;
Preparing and analyzing costing for tenders;
Allocating work to subcontractors;
Providing advice on contractual claims;
Analyzing outcomes and writing detailed progress reports;
Valuing completed work and arranging payments;
Maintaining awareness of the different building contracts in current use;
Understanding the implications of health and safety regulations.
Being able to provide both summarized and detailed reports, on current activities
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 3 year-experiences at Estimation or Quantity Surveying within an engineering or construction organization
Good practical organization skills, planning of resources and program scheduling
Commercially astute, numerate, risk averse & able to accurately forecast cost & sales
Multi-tasking, self-motivated, energetic team player with a flexible and adaptable approach to work
IT Literate able to use Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
Good command of written and spoken English
Qualifications
A Degree in either, Civil or Structural Engineering, Surveying or Construction
Willing to be assigned in the site
Driving License Preferred
