Quality Engineer
Job Specification:
The position of Quality Engineer being offered is one within the Quality structure, reporting directly to the Group Quality Manager and Facility Manager, working in conjunction with Project Engineers and Section Leaders.
The role will predominantly be one to enhance and improve the current Quality Engineering function of the Company.
This would include such activities as:
? Liaising with Manufacturing Engineers in the Quality Aspects of New Product Development.
? Performing Advanced Quality Planning along with the Risk Management of Product Introduction.
? Writing and Implementing Quality Plans for Production Readiness
? Performing Physical Component Proving
? Component Verification to Customer Supplied Drawings and Specification.
? Analysing and Problem Solving Non-conforming Items.
Requirements:
The successful applicant should have good working experience of Quality Management processes, especially in the implementation of Advanced Product Quality Planning, Part Production Advanced Planning and Risk Management techniques.
Necessary condition: good communication attributes in the English language with the understanding of technical vocabulary.
Terms & Conditions
37 hour per week + overtime
25 staggered days plus Statutory Bank Holidays; raising to 26 days after 2 years service
Salary negotiable depending on experience.
