Opis Stanowiska:
Osoba na stanowisku Inżynier Projektant Rusztowań / Konstruktor będzie odpowiedzialna za całościowe wspieranie menadżerów liniowych, we wszystkich oddziałach Firmy. Głównym zadaniem osoby na tym stanowisku będzie przygotowywanie szczegółowych projektów, pozwalających na bezpieczne stawianie i demontaż specjalistycznych struktur rusztowań w celu zapewnienia bezpiecznego miejsca pracy, a także innych, tymczasowych projektów.

What you will be responsible for?
-To prepare drawings using AutoCAD.
-To produce calculations in support of design using manual and computer based methods i.e. Excel spread sheets and frame analysis software
-To liaise with clients/customers in order to clearly establish their design requirements.
-To carry out detailed site surveys in order to prepare the design.
-To attend site meetings regarding the design as requested by Line Management.
-To give technical advice to line management in preparing a tender(s).
-To work to the company’s QA system.
-To maintain the design register and jobs files in accordance with the companies policies and procedures.
-To keep all notes of correspondence that affects the design philosophy, site meetings.
-To keep abreast of changing design philosophy’s and/or legislation.
-Mentoring junior members of the design team and others with the wider DSL team.
What Knowledge, Skills & Abilities do you require
-Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
-Experience of scaffolding design
-Ability to work as part of a team and independently with little day to day supervision.
-Ability to deputise for the Senior Design Engineer when necessary
-Good computer skills encompassing Microsoft Office suite of products
-Good verbal and written skills to assist in developing design briefs with Internal and external clients
-Good understanding of design requirements to satisfy the requirements of the work at heights regulations and the CDM regulations
-Proactive in developing own CPD and that of junior members of the team
-Fluent English

Other Considerations
DSL in an international company currently operating in the UK and Eire from diverse customer job site, there will be a need for occasional travel and overnight stays to service customer requirements.
