Project Manager

Requirements:
-Experience in work on the similar position in Scandinavian region (especially working with those subcontractors: Statensvegwesen or Jernbahnverket)
-Experience in building bridges (min 5 years)
-Knowledge of method statements, samhandlingsphase, what are the procedures in procurement
-Performance of the works in accordance with the Contract condition, design, technical knowledge and time schedule on the part of the activities
-Fluent English is necessary
-Fluent Norwegian/Swedish/Danish is necessary
-Posses solid negotiation and interpersonal skills
Position Summary:
-This work site requires interaction with Clients, Stakeholders and Subcontractors
o acting as the Contractor’s representative,
o preparation and participation in negotiation with the Client prices for additional or various works
o leading in meetings with the Client (Byggemte) and making decision on behalf of JV in meetings
o management of sub-contractors activities and claims
o negotiation with the Client prices of additional or various works
o taking chair at internal technical and coordination meetings
o management the Contract staff organization
-Identifying, developing and implementation business activity in accordance with the current situation and JV priorities
-Leading activity follow on Norwegian law, labor rules and required permissions
-Management the works according to the Contract conditions, technical knowledge, time schedule and budget
-Making decisions in technical matters
-Management of preparation and submission the monthly reports to the Client contain all required information referring to the Contract condition
-Management of preparation and submission of monthly report to JV Board presented the progress of the Works and all important contractual matters
-Procurement and order works and goods with respect to JV Agreement and procurement procedure
-Management documents for claims and further disputes
-Checking contractual correspondence in eRoom
-and other specified Project Management related services
