Saudi Arabia Bechtel Co. is currently searching for specialists to work on the Jubail Industrial City project in Saudi Arabia. Jubail II will add a second industrial area to house up to 22 new primary industries. The project calls for the expansion of King Fahd Industrial Port, pipeline refurbishment, increasing capacity of the cooling system, and new desalination plants.
Area Project Manager – Jubail Services
Location: Jubail, Saudi Arabia
SSA/08/APMJ Accountability:
* Plan and execute (of Bechtel responsibility) the King Fahd Industrial Port (KFIP) and the Jubail 2 projects;The port project includes design and construction of the petrochemical quay and berths within the industrial port while the Jubail 2 project is a site development of approximately 64 square kilometers of land, being developed in four stages;
* Assure that the objectives of the two projects are achieved efficiently, in a cost-effective manner and accomplished in an orderly and planned program;
* Provide Construction Management support to the Construction Department.
Key Technical Skills:
* College/University degree in Engineering with a significant experience in Project/Engineering/Construction Management in heavy civil and/or industrial sectors;
* Previous design experience is also essential;
* Managerial experience in project and construction planning and budgeting; and possess significant leadership and collaborative skills;
* A proven achiever, with an ability to communicate well and excellent presentation skills coupled with the ability to establish a good rapport with the client;
* A very high level of professional integrity, accountability and initiative;
* Basic working knowledge of personal computer (PC) and its software programs applications.
