Saudi Arabia Bechtel Co. is currently searching for specialists to work on the Jubail Industrial City project in Saudi Arabia. Jubail II will add a second industrial area to house up to 22 new primary industries. The project calls for the expansion of King Fahd Industrial Port, pipeline refurbishment, increasing capacity of the cooling system, and new desalination plants.
Quality Specialist
Location: Jubail, Saudi Arabia
SSA/08/QS
Accountability:
* Responsible for the career development planning of construction personnel assigned to the project;
* Manage the construction staffing group and coordinate with the HR Department;
* Coordinate with and assist the Area Construction Managers with the yearly staffing plan;
* Assist the Project Field Engineer and Manager of Construction with training and annual reviews of construction personnel;
* Coordinate/perform 25% and 75% contract completion QA/QC audits of the contractors;
* Assist the PFE with quality manual reviews and quality related issues;
* Responsible for improving the quality of the construction department processes. Perform other tasks as assigned by the MOC.
Key Technical Skills:
* College/University degree with significant experience in Engineering or Construction Management;
* Experience with staffing and employee development required;
* Experience with Construction management, quality construction work and auditing;
* Exposure of all disciplines of field construction works;
* Experience should be multi discipline and related to civil, mechanical, electrical installations and building and infrastructure construction;
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of programs;
* Exposure/experience with Bechtel?s HR processes and career development planning a plus
