For our client- an Irish civil & structural consulting engineering practice which is now establishing its office in Łódź we are currently looking for a Civil/ Structural Engineer.
The client is proposing to open a branch of his engineering Consultancy in Lodz (Piotrkowska St)
His aim is service the ever increasing Irish developers investing in the Polish property market
Typical responsibilities:
– everyday running office
– visiting sites
– writing reports calculations
– meeting new clients and building business in Poland
– conversing with building regulations
They would be able to work independently in Poland but liaise with client’s Offices in Kinsale and Clonakilty
Requirements
– degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering
– fluent English
– young, enthusiastic and highly motivated
– fully conversant with Polish Building Regulations and Planning Procedures
– an overall knowledge building contracts, Health and Safety, Design and Drawing office procedures
The client will possibly ask the candidate to spend some time in Ireland getting to know the staff and how his company operates and then travel to Poland to help organize the office set-up.
The client would envisage the person to be a key member of his staff.
